FADA releases retail tractor sales data July 2022 - Kharif's periodic monsoon and uncertainty affected July retail tractor sales. As a result, the sales noted 59,573 units in July 2022 against 82419 units in July 2021, showing a declining rate in tractor sales July 2022 by 27.72%.
Mr Vinkesh Gulati, FADA President, commented, “The tractor retail run noticed poor demand as rural India continues to underperform. High inflation, irregular monsoon and high cost of privilege continue to keep bottom of the pyramid customers at bay.”
Mahindra tractor sold 14,295 tractor units which slipped by 29.29% compared to the previous year, where the company sold 20,217 units. As a result, the company loses its market share by 0.53%.
Swaraj division Mahindra limited, known for its brand value prepositions, registered July 2022 sales report, which declined by 19.61%, as it sold 10,542 units as against 13,114 units sold in July 2021. But after sales degrowth, the company increases its market shares by 1.79%.
Sonalika tractor sold 7406 units in July 2022, while the company sold 9139 units in July 2021, which clearly shows a decline in sales by 18.96%. On the other side, the company increased its market share by 1.34%.
TAFE limited tractor sales dropped by 34.23%, as it sold 6,615 units, whereas the company sold 10,058 units in July 2021. Along with that, the company also lose its market share by 1.1%.
Escorts Kubota limited sold 6306 units in July 2022, whereas it sold 8819 units in July 2021, which is lesser than 2513 units as compared to the previous year. Apart from it, the company also loses its market share by 0.11%.
John Deere recorded its July 2022 tractor sales which dropped by 26.76% as compared to July 2021, where the company sold 1634 units higher than the current year. On the contrary, the company increased its market share by 0.1%.
Eicher tractors registered its sales which declined by 33.36% as it sold 3565 units, whereas the company sold 5350 units in July 2021, which is higher than the current year. As a result, the company also dropped its market share by 0.51%.
New Holland tractor sold 2035 units in July 2022 as compared to the previous year where the company sold 2964 units, clearly showing the declining sales by 929 units. As a result, the New Holland company also loses its market share by 0.18%.
Kubota tractors reported its July 2022 sales report, where it records declining sales, as sold 1382 units, whereas the company sold 2001 units in July 2021, which dropped by 30.93% in the current year. The company also decreased its market share by 0.2%.
Captain tractor sold 434 units in July 2022 and registered a 15.72% degrowth as compared to last year, where the company sold 515 units. Along with that, the company increased its market shares by 0.11%.
Force tractor sales decreased by 9.8% in July 2022 as it sold 405 units, while this company sold 449 units in July 2021. On the other hand, the company increases its market share by 0.14%.
VST Tractors & Tillers registered its tractor sales in July 2022, where it sold 375 units and dropped its sales by 59.42%, while the company sold 924 units in July 2021, which is much higher than the current year. The company also dropped its market share by 0.49%
Indo Farm tractor sold 251 units in July 2022 at a 7.04% fall. But the company maintain its market share by 0.09%.
Retail tractor sales of other tractor brands were 1,489 units in July 2022 and 2,492 units in July 2021, which shows a loss of 40.25%. They also lost their market share by 0.52%.
