The domestic tractor sales report for the month of February 2023 was revealed recently, marking a 20.09% increase. In Feb 2023, all the popular tractors’ domestic sales were 62,367 tractors as compared to 51,932 tractors in Feb 2022. So, let’s take a look at the leading tractor OEM’s sales for Feb 2023.
Mahindra Tractors domestic tractor sales for Feb 2023 were 24.619 tractors as compared to 18,910 tractors in Feb 2022, making a 30.19% growth.
Hemant Sikka, President of Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., quoted,
“We have sold 24,619 tractors in the domestic market during February 2023, a growth of 30% over last year. Record Rabi crop acreage for wheat and oilseeds, high crop prices and better terms of trade for farmers are leading to positive sentiments in the rural markets. Expected higher Rabi output will improve liquidity in the hands of the farmers, supporting tractor demand. Water reservoir levels continue to remain high. In the export market, we have sold 1172 tractors.”
Tafe group’s domestic tractor sales were 11233 Tafe tractors in Feb 2023, as compared to 9124 tractors in Feb 2022, presenting a 23.11% increase.
Escorts domestic tractor sales were 7245 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 5686 Escorts tractors in Feb 2022, revealing a 27.42% boost.
Sonalika domestic tractor sales were 6994 Sonalika tractors in Feb 2023, as compared to 6505 tractors in Feb 2022, observing a 7.52% growth.
John Deere domestic tractor sales were 5761 tractors in Feb 2023, as compared to 5427 John Deere tractors in Feb 2022, making a 6.15% rise.
New Holland tractor sales were 2556 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 2384 tractors in Feb 2022, recording a 7.21% growth.
Kubota domestic tractor sales were 1753 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 1609 units Kubota tractor in Feb 2022, recording a 8.95% increase.
Preet domestic tractor sales were 540 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 556 Preet tractors in Feb 2022, showing a 2.88% decline.
Indo Farm domestic tractor sales were 472 Indo Farm tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 606 tractors in Feb 2022, showing a 22.11% decline.
VST tractor sales were 331 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 291 tractors in Feb 2022, presenting a 13.75% boost.
Force domestic tractor sales were 292 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 335 Force tractors in Feb 2023, marking a 12.84% decline.
Captain domestic tractor sales were 290 Captain tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 161 tractors in Feb 2022, marking a 80.12% growth.
ACE tractor sales were 225 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 233 tractors in Feb 2022, showing a 3.43% decline.
SDF domestic tractor sales were 56 tractors in Feb 2023 as compared to 105 SDF tractors in Feb 2022, making a 46.67% decline.
