Mahindra Tractor Sales Report January 2024: Sold 22972 Tractors

Mahindra & Mahindra released the January 2024 Tractor Sales Report. The brand sold 22972 tractors in January 2024 as opposed to 27626 tractors in January 2023 in the domestic tractor market. This way, Mahindra's domestic tractor sales figures for 2024 observe a 17% decline. At the same time, the January 2024 Mahindra Tractor Export Sales Report shows a decline of 25%. The brand sold 976 tractors in January 2024 in the Export market, which was 1300 tractors in January 2023.

Mahindra tractor total sales registered 23948 tractors sold in January 2024 as compared to 28926 tractors in January 2023, marking a 17% decrease in sales.

Mahindra & Mahindra also presented the Year to Date (YTD) April to January Tractor sales data for 2024. The brand sold 320129 tractors in 2024 in comparison to the 331290 tractors sold in the Domestic market in 2023. Mahindra’s domestic tractor sales data for 2024 shows a decline of 3%. Moreover, Mahindra's YTD Tractor Sales Report of 2024 shows a 32% decline in the export market.

Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, M&M Ltd., said, while highlighting the performance, “We have sold 22972 tractors in the domestic market during January 2024. Retail momentum slowed down on account of tapering of agricultural activities. Rabi crop output is expected to be good with prevailing cold conditions helping the key crop of wheat. Government announcement of a good estimate of Horticulture production, and continued government support to boost rural economy will aid positive sentiments and support tractor demand in the coming months. In the export market, we have sold 976 tractors.”
