Mahindra & Mahindra revealed the December 2023 Tractor Sales Report. The brand sold 18,028 tractors in December 2023 as opposed to 21,640 tractors in December 2022 in the domestic tractor market. This way, Mahindra's domestic tractor sales figures for 2023 observe a 17% drop. At the same time, the December 2023 Mahindra Tractor Export Sales Report shows a decline of 31%. The brand sold 1,110 tractors in December 2023 in the Export market, which was 1,603 tractors in December 2022.
Mahindra tractor total sales registered 19,138 tractors sold in December 2023 as compared to 23,243 tractors in December 2022, marking a 18% decrease in sales.

Mahindra & Mahindra also presented the Year to Date (YTD) April to December Tractor sales data for 2023. The brand sold 2,97,157 tractors in 2023 in comparison to the 3,03,664 tractors sold in the Domestic market in 2022. Mahindra’s domestic tractor sales data for 2023 shows a decline of 2%. Moreover, Mahindra's YTD Tractor Sales Report of 2023 shows a 32% decline in the export market.

Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, M&M Ltd., said, while highlighting the performance, “We have sold 18,028 tractors in the domestic market during December 2023. Retail momentum slowed down on account of tapering of agricultural activities, which is the norm in the month of December. Announcement of higher horticulture production and continued Government support to the agri sector are expected to support tractor demand. In the export market, we have sold 1,110 tractors.”
