The September 2023 domestic tractor sales report has been revealing, showing a decline of 14.37% as of September 2022. The leading tractor manufacturers in the industry sold only 96,916 tractors in September 2023, which was 113,179 units in the previous year. However, agriculture experts are optimistic that the upcoming financial year will bring higher profits.
September 2023 Brand Wise Domestic Tractor Sales Report
Mahindra, a renowned tractor maker for many years, observed a 10.76% dip in sales in September 2023 against September 2022. Moreover, Mahindra Tractor market share saw a 1.76% increase. Mahindra sold 42,034 units in September 2023, as compared to 47,100 tractors sold in September 2022.
The September 2023 domestic sales report of TAFE Group registered a drop in sales by 12.64%. At the same time, its market share rose by 0.37%. TAFE sold 18244 units in September 2023, as compared to 20884 units sold in September 2022.
The September 2023 Domestic Tractor Sales Report reveals Sonalika tractor sold around 13732 tractors in September 2023, which was 15030 in September 2022, marking an 8.64% decline. Moreover, Sonalika's market share increased by 0.89%.
Escorts Tractors sold 10,114 units in September 2023, which was 11,384 tractors in September 2022, presenting an 11.16% decline in domestic tractor sales. Also, the market share of Escorts tractors grew by 0.38%.
The John Deere Tractor September 2023 domestic sales report shows 6,125 tractors sold, whereas 8,898 units sold in September 2022. As a result, the brand witnessed a 31.16% decrease in sales. On the other hand, John Deere tractor’s market share dipped by 1.54%.
New Holland tractor September 2023 domestic tractor sales recorded 3767 tractors sold against 4602 tractors in September 2023. This showcases an 18.14% sales drop, along with a 0.18% decline in the market share.
Kubota, a Japan-based tractor manufacturer, observed a huge drop of 49.55% in domestic tractor sales in September 2023. The company sold 1,220 tractors in September 2023 as compared to 2,418 tractors in the same period the previous year. Moreover, Kubota tractors saw a 0.88% increase in the market share.
Preet Tractors sold 427 units in September 2023, and in September 2022, the domestic tractor sales were 694, leading to a 38.47% dip. Also, the market share of Preet Tractors marked a 0.17% decline.
Indo Farm tractors also experienced a decline in the September 2023 domestic tractor sales report, with 406 units sold against 681 tractors in September 2022. This resulted in a 40.38% drop in tractor sales, with a decline of about 0.18% in the market share.
The September 2023 domestic tractor sales report of Captain Tractors marks a dip of 42.88%. This is due to the sale of 527 units in comparison to the 527 tractors sold in September 2022. At the same time, its market share dipped by 0.16%.
VST Tractor and Tillers Ltd. sold 269 tractors in September 2023 as compared to 568 units sold in September 2022. Therefore, the company observed a 52.64% sales decline, and its market share saw a decline of 0.22% as well.
ACE Tractors September 2023 domestic tractor sales report shows 210 tractors sold against 278 tractors in the same month the previous year, making a 24.46% dip in sales. The market share of VST tractors also declined by 0.03%.
SDF tractors sold 67 units in September 2023, revealing a 41.74% drop. Moreover, the company’s market share declined by about 0.03%.
