Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Private Limited, recently appointed Mr. G S Grewal as the first ever Indian Managing Director for Kubota India.
Kubota is a 132-year old multinational company from Japan, which operates in over 120 nations. It began its operations in India in 2008, with headquarters Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This brand innovated numerous modern products (farming tractors, paddy transplanters, construction equipment and combine harvesters) in a duration of 14 years, remembering the market demands. Thus, Kubota became a recommended brand in the farming industry.
Mr. G S Grewal has remarkable experience of more than 30 years in the Farm Machinery Industry. He entered Kubota Agricultural Machinery India Pvt. Ltd. (KAI), in 2010 as the Senior General Manager Sales and Marketing and he has been promoted to various leadership positions such as Sr. VP, VP, Director over the last 12 years before taking the MD position, which was effective from 1st Jan 2023 for KAI. The company has observed eye-catching growth in sales, market capitalization and dealer network during the era of his leadership. Additionally, he has played a significant role in founding Kubota as one of the proliferating MNC brands in India.
He also served well with Escorts and TAFE for more than two decades before joining Kubota India.
