The October 2023 tractor sales report has been released recently. According to the tractor sales data, a decline of 3.93% in sales has been witnessed compared to October 2022. The leading tractor manufacturers sold 118,232 tractors in October 2023, which was 123,070 tractors in October 2022. However, agriculture enthusiasts are hoping for a better sales volume in the upcoming fiscal year.
Domestic Tractor Sales Report October 2023 - Brand Wise Data
Mahindra, a renowned tractor maker, observed a 2.38% dip in October 2023 tractor sales compared to October 2022. However, the Mahindra tractor’s market share improved by 0.66%. Mahindra recorded a sale of 49,336 tractors in October 2023, which was 50,539 tractors in October 2022.
The TAFE Group also registered a sales increase of 2.65%. Moreover, its market share increased by 1.17%. However, Massey Tractor sold 21,581 units in October 2023, as compared to 21,023 tractors sold in October 2022.
The October 2023 Domestic Tractor Sales Report depicts that Sonalika tractors sold 15,662 tractors in October 2023, which was 16,268 tractors in October 2022, marking a decline of 3.73%. At the same time, Sonalika's market share witnessed a 0.03% increase.
Escorts Tractors sold 12642 tractors in October 2023, leading to an 8.68% sales decrease, with 13843 tractors sold in October 2022. Moreover, their market share saw a 0.56% decline.
In October 2023, John Deere Tractor witnessed a significant decrease in tractor sales, with 10,682 tractors sold, which was 11,373 tractors in October 2022. As a result, the Domestic Tractor Sales Report for October 2023 presents a sales decline of 6.08%. Also, its market share recorded a 0.21% drop.
New Holland sold 4,568 tractors in October 2023. On the other hand, its sales for October 2022 were 4,652 tractors, which marked a sales decline of 1.81% this year. The market share of New Holland tractors shows a 0.08% decline.
Kubota, a Japan-based tractor manufacturer, sold 1908 tractors in October 2023, facing a 35.61% decline. This is because the brand sold 2963 units sold in October 2022. Despite this decline, the market share of Kubota tractors increased by 0.79%.
Punjab-based Preet tractors experienced a noteworthy drop in sales. The Domestic Tractor Sales Report for Oct 2023 suggests 518 tractors sold, as compared to 637 tractors sold in October 2022. This revealed an 18.68% decrease, and its market share also declined by 0.08%.
Indo Farm Tractors faced a sales decline, similar to other companies. They sold 453 tractors in October 2023, which was 602 tractors in October 2022. As a result, the sales figures show a 24.75% sales drop. At the same time, their market share witnessed a 0.11% decline.
Captain Tractor sold 301 units in October 2023, which is similar to their tractor sales in October 2022. As a result, Captain Tractor's sales indicate no change. Moreover, their market share was recorded at 0.01%.
According to the October 2023 domestic tractor sales, ACE Tractors recorded a sales drop of 17.92%, with a decline of 0.04% in its market share as well.
VST Tillers and Tractors Ltd. marked a 46.10% decline in sales due to 235 tractors sold in October 2023 as compared to 436 units sold in October 2022. Also, the market share of VST tractors declined by 0.16%.
In October 2023, SDF Tractors registered 85 tractors sold, marking a 26.09% drop as compared to 115 tractors sold in the previous year. Moreover, the brand witnessed a decline of 0.02% in its market share.
