Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., stated, "In November 2024, we sold 31,746 tractors in the domestic market, showing a 2% growth compared to last year. With the Kharif harvest finished, farmers are now focusing on Rabi sowing. The small decline in the industry is due to the change in the timing of festivals like Diwali and Dhanteras compared to last year. Positive farmer sentiment, healthy cash flow, good water reservoir levels, and higher MSP for important Rabi crops are boosting confidence. We expect strong Rabi sowing and a good harvest to increase tractor demand even more. In exports, we sold 1,632 tractors, which is a 62% increase from last year.
