Mahindra Launched 7 Tractors In OJA Tractor Series At Global Launch Event 

August 15, 2023, Mahindra, a global leader in tractor manufacturing, set a new benchmark with the grand unveiling of their latest masterpiece – the OJA Tractor. Held in a splendid venue with cutting-edge technology displays, the launch event was a spectacular fusion of innovation and celebration.

Crafting the Future of Farming: The Birth of OJA Tractor

Mahindra's pursuit of excellence in agriculture machinery took centre stage at the OJA Tractor launch event. The series name "OJA'' comes from the Sanskrit term 'Ojas,' which defines energy and strength. Months of dedicated research, engineering, and design innovation gave birth to a machine destined to change modern farming practices. The OJA Tractor's launch was guided by Mahindra's commitment to address the evolving needs of crop growers worldwide. 

Features Of Mahindra OJA Tractors Showcasing Revolution

• Mahindra's OJA tractor range is manufactured on three power-packed platforms: Sub-Compact, Compact, and Small Utility. These models share a common 4WD technology and have an improved power-to-weight ratio. 
• The Sub-Compact option serves the needs of farmers in the USA. At the same time, the Small Utility model is engineered for the India, USA, and ASEAN markets. On the other hand, compact tractors are built to cater to the needs of the US, India, and ASEAN markets.
• Mahindra has introduced 4WD, a standard feature on a portfolio of 7 brand-new tractor models created specifically for the Indian market. 
• These OJA tractors have a power range of 20 to 40 horsepower (14.91 kW to 29.82 kW) and are constructed on Compact and Small Utility platforms. 

These four new, lightweight tractor platforms, which are distributed across different horsepower categories and each meet certain demands, add some variation. Farmers will get compact tractors in the:

1. Mahindra OJA 2121 with 21 HP
2. Mahindra OJA 2124 with 24 HP
3. Mahindra OJA 2127 with 27 HP
4. Mahindra OJA 2130 with 30 HP

However, the models in the utility segment from mahindra OJA are: 

1. Mahindra OJA 3132 with 32 horsepower
2. Mahindra OJA 3136 with 36 horsepower
3. Mahindra OJA 3140 with 40 horsepower

• The business stresses that this vast range guarantees great platform versatility and efficiency to handle various agricultural jobs with ease.
• With 1.4 to 2 meters of wheelbases, these Mahindra OJA tractor designs make agricultural and field work more efficient and comfortable.
• The PROJA, MYOJA, and ROBOJA advanced technology packages are included with these OJA tractors. 
• Smooth shuttle, adjustable steering, wet PTO, and stylish projector headlamps are offered by PROJA. At the same time, MYOJA offers helpful telematics and warnings. Additionally, ROBOJA has intelligent features, including auto-implement lift, auto PTO, auto braking, depth control, and rapid adjustments.
• An innovative collaboration between India's Mahindra Research Valley, Mahindra AFS' R&D facility, and Japan's Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery led to the creation of the Mahindra OJA tractor. 

This cutting-edge OJA tractor line will only be produced in Mahindra's Zaheerabad, Telangana factory, renowned for producing a wide range of renowned tractors, with a significant investment of Rs. 1,200 crores.

Before launching the OJA line in North America, ASEAN, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, Europe, and the SAARC area, Mahindra Tractor will make it official in India. Thailand will be the starting point for the company's entry into the ASEAN market in 2024.

The OJA tractors have also made plans to enter over 12 new nations, and they expect to have an impact on 25% of the world tractor market.
