India’s domestic tractor wholesale market recorded healthy growth in June 2026, supported by steady demand from farmers across major agricultural states. Total industry dispatches increased to 1,26,112 units, compared to 1,12,678 units in June 2025, registering 11.92% year-on-year growth. Most tractor manufacturers reported higher sales during the month, while the industry’s overall market share remained unchanged at 100%.
The growth in wholesale dispatches indicates continued demand for tractors ahead of the kharif farming season. Higher rainfall activity in several regions, ongoing field preparation work, and improved rural demand supported sales across multiple tractor brands during the month.
Mahindra & Mahindra Group remained the market leader in June 2026. The company sold 51,185 tractors, compared to 51,769 units in June 2025, recording 12.39% growth. Its market share improved from 45.94% to 46.14%, an increase of 0.19%, helping the company maintain a strong lead in the domestic market.
TAFE retained the second position with 20,468 units, up from 19,952 units last year. The company recorded 2.59% growth. However, its market share declined from 17.71% to 16.23%, a decrease of 1.48%.
Sonalika posted one of the strongest performances among leading brands. The company sold 17,680 tractors, compared to 15,000 units in June 2025, registering 17.87% growth. Its market share increased from 13.31% to 14.02%, a gain of 0.71%, reflecting stronger demand across several markets.
Escorts Kubota also recorded strong growth. The company sold 13,176 units, up from 10,997 units in the same month last year, registering 19.81% growth. Its market share improved from 9.76% to 10.45%, an increase of 0.69%.

John Deere sold 9,910 tractors in June 2026, compared to 8,810 units a year earlier, recording 12.49% growth. The company’s market share increased slightly from 7.82% to 7.86%, a gain of 0.04%.
New Holland reported 4,700 units, up from 4,250 units in June 2025, registering 10.59% growth. Despite higher sales, its market share declined slightly from 3.77% to 3.73%, a decrease of 0.04%.
Captain Tractors sold 510 units, compared to 500 units last year, recording 2.00% growth. However, its market share declined from 0.44% to 0.40%, a decrease of 0.04%.
Indo Farm recorded 420 units, up from 396 units in June 2025, registering 6.06% growth. Its market share declined slightly from 0.35% to 0.33%, a decrease of 0.02%.
Preet sold 400 tractors, compared to 383 units last year, recording 4.44% growth. Its market share declined from 0.34% to 0.32%, a decrease of 0.02%.
VST was the only major tractor manufacturer to report lower sales during the month. The company sold 350 tractors, compared to 359 units in June 2025, recording a 2.51% decline. Its market share also fell from 0.32% to 0.28%, a decrease of 0.04%.
ACE recorded 225 units, up from 202 units in the same month last year, registering 11.39% growth. The company’s market share remained unchanged at 0.18%.
SDF recorded the highest growth among all tractor brands in June 2026. The company sold 88 tractors, compared to 60 units in June 2025, registering 46.67% growth. Its market share improved from 0.05% to 0.07%, an increase of 0.02%.
The domestic tractor wholesale market maintained positive momentum in June 2026, with total dispatches rising 11.92% year-on-year to 1,26,112 units. Growth was supported by stronger demand across key agricultural regions and improved sales across most major tractor brands.
Mahindra & Mahindra Group continued to lead the market in terms of sales volume, while Sonalika and Escorts Kubota recorded strong growth and gained market share. SDF emerged as the fastest-growing brand during the month with 46.67% growth, while VST remained the only major manufacturer to report a decline in sales.
Overall, the June 2026 wholesale sales figures indicate steady growth in India’s tractor industry and continued demand for farm mechanisation across both domestic and rural markets.
