Escorts Kubota Expands MU Range with MU4502 & MU5002

Escorts Kubota Limited has expanded its tractor portfolio in India with the launch of two new models, the Kubota MU4502 and Kubota MU5002 tractor. The MU4502 is a 45 HP tractor, while the MU5002 delivers 50 HP. Both models belong to the company’s premium utility tractor range in the 41–50 HP segment, one of India’s largest and fastest-growing tractor categories.

A key highlight of the new tractors is the industry-first 8-year transferable warranty. The warranty stays with the tractor even when ownership changes, offering buyers extended coverage and potentially supporting better resale value.

Japanese Power Meets Multi-Speed Transmission

The Kubota MU4502 and MU5002 are powered by the proven Kubota KQP4 Japanese engine. Both models feature a 12F + 4R Multi-Speed Synchromesh Gearbox, giving farmers multiple speed choices for different agricultural operations.

The transmission is designed to handle both heavy tillage and haulage applications, allowing farmers to select suitable speeds according to the job. The tractors also feature Pompa Lift with DSS (Dual Stabilizer Spring) Technology, which helps keep attached implements stable and maintain a consistent working depth, including on uneven fields.

Built for Comfortable and Efficient Operation

The MU4502 and MU5002 feature Kubota’s global design, inspired by the strength and agility of a bull. Both models come with full LED lighting, providing better visibility during operations while adding to their premium appearance.

Operator comfort is supported by a fully covered flat-deck platform, premium bucket seat, suspended pedals, double-acting power steering and strategically positioned controls. The balancer shaft technology further helps reduce vibration during extended working hours.

Both models are equipped with 4WD and are designed as versatile tractors for farmers who need to handle a combination of agricultural and transport-related tasks.

Versatile Tractors for Farming and Haulage

The new Kubota tractors are compatible with most primary and secondary tillage and farming implements. Farmers can use them with implements such as super seeders, seed drills, potato planters, mini round balers and cultivators.

The MU4502 and MU5002 are suitable for crops including paddy, wheat, maize, pulses and soyabean. Their applications also extend beyond farming to haulage and commercial activities.

A reverse PTO further expands their usability for specialised applications, including rotavators and straw reapers. Both models are designed for landholdings of 5 acres and above and are available across India.

Two New Additions to the Kubota MU Series

Escorts Kubota operates three tractor brands in India, i.e., Farmtrac, Powertrac and Kubota which caters to the entry-premium, value and premium segments, respectively.

The newly launched MU4502 and MU5002 strengthen the premium Kubota portfolio. Following their introduction, the MU Series now comprises MU4201, MU4501, MU4502, MU5002 and MU5502.
