Domestic Tractor Sales March 2023: 82864 Tractors Sold With 13.7% Sales Increase

Domestic Tractor Sales increase of 13.68% Total Sold 82,864 Units

The domestic tractor sales March 2023 has been released recently. The data of sales presents an increase of 13.68% in tractor sales in March 2023. Moreover, a total of 82,864 tractors were sold against 72,891 tractors in March 2022. Hence, the sales data observed a boost in the sales. 

Domestic Sales Data Of Top Tractor Brands for March 2023

Mahindra tractor sales were 33,622 tractors in March 2023 as compared to 28,112 tractors in March 2022 which marked a 19.60% increase. Also, Mahindra captured a 2.01% market share. 

Hemant Sikka, President - Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., marked - “We have sold 33,622 tractors in the domestic market during March 2023, a growth of 20% over last year. Increase in crop output, mandi prices staying firm, Government support for increase in MSP for major crops and increase in wages under MGNREGA scheme will help improve the financial security of rural households and boost tractor demand in the coming months. In the export market, we have sold 1,392 tractors.”

Tafe Group recorded domestic tractor sales of 13,674 tractors in March 2023, which was 11,363 tractors in March 2022. As a result, the data represents a 20% increase in sales, and Tafe also acquired a market share of 0.91%. 

The domestic tractor sales of Sonalika Tractors boosted by 18.34% in March 2023. This tractor manufacturer sold 10,616 tractors in March 2023 and 8971 tractors in March 2022. Sonalika achieved a 0.50% market share this month. 

The Escorts Kubota tractor sales were 9601 tractors in March 2023 as compared to 9483 tractors in March 2022, marking a 1.24% increase. However, the brand lost 1.42% market share. 

John Deere tractor sales were 5931 tractors in March 2023 as compared to 6121 tractors in March 2022. Therefore, the brand observed a decline of 3.10% tractor sales. Along with this, John Deere tractor lost its 1.24% market share. 

Coming to New Holland, this tractor brand sold 3707 tractors in March 2023 in comparison to 3265 tractors in March 2022, recording a 13.54% increase in tractor sales. 

Kubota tractors domestic sales were 2546 tractors in March 2023 as compared to 2189 tractors in March 2022, revealing a double digit domestic tractor sales increase of 16.31%. 

Preet domestic sales were observed to be 697 tractors in March 2023, as compared to 775 tractors in March 2022. Thus, it recorded a 10.06% decrease in sales. 

Indo Farm sold 621 tractors in March 2023 against 752 tractors in March 2022, witnessing a 17.42% decline in sales. 

VST domestic tractor sales were observed to be 574 tractors in March 2023, which was 506 tractors in March 2022. As a result, the company marked a 13.44% rise in sales. Also, VST maintained its market share without any fluctuations. 

Captain Tractor domestic tractor sales were 501 tractors in March 2023 in comparison to 436 tractors in March 2022, revealing a 14.91% increase in sales. In addition, the company maintained its 0.1% market share.

Force Tractor witnessed a 22.32% decline in sales, as the company sold 414 tractors in March 2023, whereas the sales in March 2022 was 533 tractors.

The domestic tractor sales of ACE Tractors were 274 units in March 2023 as compared to 250 tractors in March 2022. Therefore, the company marked a 9.60% growth in the sales figures. However, ACE tractors faced a 0.01% decrease in its market sales. 

SDF Tractors sold 86 tractors in March 2023, as compared to 135 tractors in March 2022, observing a drop of 36.30% in domestic tractor sales. Apart from this, the brand lost its 0.08% market share.
