Mahindra Records 22% Growth in Tractor Sales, Tractor Sales Report May 2026

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), part of the Mahindra Group, announced its tractor sales results for May 2026.

The company sold a total of 49,695 tractors in May 2026. Last year, Mahindra sold 40,643 tractors during the same month. This shows a growth of 22%.

Mahindra sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market in May 2026. In May 2025, domestic sales stood at 38,914 units. As a result, domestic sales increased by 23%.

Export sales also increased during the month. Mahindra exported 1,850 tractors in May 2026 compared to 1,729 tractors in May last year. This shows a 7% growth in exports.

Mahindra recorded growth in both domestic and export sales during May 2026. Domestic sales increased by 23%, while exports grew by 7%. Overall, total tractor sales grew by 22% compared to May last year.

Mahindra Cumulative Tractor Sales Data – FY27 vs FY26 (Till May)

Mahindra’s cumulative tractor sales also increased during FY27. The company sold 98,106 tractors till May FY27 compared to 80,697 units during the same period last year.

Domestic sales reached 94,249 tractors, while exports stood at 3,857 tractors during this period.

Company’s Statement

Speaking about the sales results, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said:

"We sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market during May 2026, recording a growth of 23% over last year. This growth was supported by timely completion of Rabi harvesting and better market conditions for farmers. In export markets, we sold 1,850 tractors, recording a growth of 7% over last year."
