Export Tractor Sales Report June 2026
India's tractor export wholesale market recorded healthy growth in June 2026, reflecting steady demand for Indian tractors in overseas markets. Total tractor exports reached 9,971 units, compared to 8,772 units in June 2025, registering 13.67% year-on-year growth. Most tractor manufacturers reported higher export volumes during the month, while a few brands recorded exceptional gains. Although export sales increased, changes in individual brand performance led to shifts in market share. However, the industry's overall export market share remained unchanged at 100%.
The June 2026 export figures indicate that Indian tractor manufacturers continued to strengthen their presence in global markets. Several leading brands expanded their export volumes, while some companies improved their market share through faster growth.
Export Sales Performance of Major Tractor Brands
Sonalika retained its position as India's largest tractor exporter in June 2026. The company exported 2,565 tractors, compared to 2,428 units in June 2025, recording 5.64% growth. Despite the increase in export volumes, its market share declined from 27.68% to 25.72%, a decrease of 1.95%, as several competing brands recorded faster growth.
Mahindra & Mahindra Group secured the second position with exports of 1,765 tractors, up from 1,623 units during the same month last year. The company registered 8.75% year-on-year growth. However, its market share declined from 18.50% to 17.70%, a decrease of 0.80%.
John Deere continued its positive export performance by shipping 1,270 tractors, compared to 1,139 units in June 2025. The company recorded 11.50% growth during the month. However, its market share slipped slightly from 12.98% to 12.74%, a decrease of 0.25%.
New Holland exported 1,240 tractors, up from 1,171 units in June 2025, registering 5.89% growth. Although export volumes increased, its market share declined from 13.35% to 12.44%, a decrease of 0.91%.
SDF delivered one of the strongest performances during the month. The company exported 978 tractors, compared to 408 units in June 2025, recording an impressive 139.71% growth. It also recorded the highest increase in market share, rising from 4.65% to 9.81%, a gain of 5.16%. The strong growth helped SDF significantly improve its position in the export market.
TAFE Group exported 960 tractors in June 2026, compared to 947 units a year earlier, registering 1.37% growth. Despite the increase in exports, its market share declined from 10.80% to 9.63%, a decrease of 1.17%.
Escorts Kubota reported exports of 527 tractors, up from 501 units in June 2025, recording 5.19% growth. However, the company's market share declined from 5.71% to 5.29%, a decrease of 0.43%.
Captain Tractors recorded one of the highest growth rates among major exporters. The company exported 380 tractors, compared to 273 units in June 2025, registering 39.19% growth. Its market share also improved from 3.11% to 3.81%, an increase of 0.70%.
Preet exported 137 tractors, compared to 128 units in the same month last year, recording 7.03% growth. However, its market share declined slightly from 1.46% to 1.37%, a decrease of 0.09%.
VST was the only major tractor manufacturer to report a decline in export sales. The company exported 90 tractors, down from 140 units in June 2025, recording a 35.71% decline. Its market share also dropped from 1.60% to 0.90%, a decrease of 0.69%.
ACE recorded the highest percentage growth among all manufacturers during the month. The company exported 37 tractors, compared to 14 units in June 2025, registering an impressive 164.29% growth. Its market share also improved from 0.16% to 0.37%, an increase of 0.21%.
Indo Farm exported 22 tractors in June 2026, while it had recorded no exports during the same month last year. As a result, the company's market share increased from 0.00% to 0.22%.
Overall Industry Performance
India's tractor export wholesale market maintained strong momentum in June 2026, with total exports rising 13.67% year-on-year to 9,971 units. The increase in exports reflects continued demand for Indian-made tractors across international markets and improved export performance by most manufacturers.
Among all brands, ACE recorded the highest growth at 164.29%, followed by SDF, which registered 139.71% growth and the largest gain in market share. Sonalika continued to lead the export market with 2,565 units, while Mahindra & Mahindra Group retained the second position. Captain Tractors also delivered strong growth during the month. On the other hand, VST was the only major manufacturer to report a decline in export sales.
Overall, the June 2026 export figures highlight steady growth in India's tractor export industry, with most manufacturers expanding their overseas shipments and strengthening the country's position in global agricultural machinery markets.
