VST Tillers Tractors Q1 Profit Rises 9.36% to ₹48.73 Crore

VST Tillers Tractors Ltd recorded a 9.36 per cent year-on-year increase in profit for the quarter ended June this fiscal, reaching ₹48.73 crore, compared with ₹44.56 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company’s revenue from operations grew 11 per cent to ₹313.4 crore, up from ₹282.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, despite supply disruptions.

Operational EBITDA Grows 7.5%

VST Tillers Tractors’ operational EBITDA increased 7.5 per cent to ₹40.29 crore, compared with ₹37.50 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The company reported an operational EBITDA margin of 12.85 per cent, despite continued pressure from commodity inflation.

Power Tiller Sales Rise 17.9%

During the quarter, VST Tillers Tractors sold 13,801 power tillers, marking a 17.9 per cent increase from 11,701 units in the corresponding quarter last year.

Its domestic tractor business also registered growth, with domestic tractor sales rising 4.5 per cent to 985 units, compared with 943 units in the same period last year.

Tractor Exports Fall 12%

The company’s tractor exports declined during the quarter. Exports fell by around 12 per cent to 275 units, compared with 312 units in the corresponding period last year.

Power Weeder Sales Grow 56.7%

Power weeder sales recorded strong growth during the quarter, rising 56.7 per cent to 3,680 units from 2,349 units in the corresponding period last year.

However, power reaper sales declined 65 per cent to 28 units, compared with 80 units in the same period last year.
