Goodyear Introduces New Ultra Grip Farm Tyres in India

Goodyear India has strengthened its agricultural tyre portfolio with the launch of the Ultra Grip tractor tyre, designed to improve performance in demanding farming conditions. The product was unveiled at a special event held in Chandigarh, where nearly 100 dealers and channel partners from across the country participated in the launch.

The newly introduced tyre is engineered to meet the evolving needs of Indian agriculture by offering enhanced traction, longer service life, and improved durability. Built with a puncture-resistant structure and a cut- and chip-resistant rubber compound, the Ultra Grip tyre is designed to withstand rough field conditions while ensuring better grip and stability during tractor operations.

Designed for Modern Farming Needs

With agricultural operations becoming more intensive, farmers increasingly requiare tyres that can perform efficiently across different soil conditions. According to Goodyear, the Ultra Grip tyre features a deeper tread pattern that improves traction and provides better control during fieldwork. The enhanced stability also helps operators work more confidently, especially on uneven terrain.

Commenting on the launch, Arvind Bhandari, Managing Director, Goodyear India, said that farming practices in India are becoming more intensive, increasing the demand for tyres that deliver consistent performance and durability.

He further stated that the launch of the Ultra Grip tractor tyre reflects the company's commitment to developing products that cater to the evolving requirements of Indian farmers.

Initially Available in 14.9-28 Size

Goodyear has introduced the Ultra Grip tractor tyre in the 14.9-28 size and plans to expand the range with additional sizes in the coming months. Farmers can purchase the new tyre through Goodyear India's dealer network across major agricultural markets in the country.

With a presence of over 104 years in India, Goodyear has built a strong position in the country's tyre industry. The company manufactures farm and commercial truck tyres at its Ballabgarh, Faridabad facility while also supplying tyres to leading tractor manufacturers.
