Escort's Kubota Limited's Agri Machinery Business Division has released tractor sales for November 2024. According to the sales report, the company sold 8,974 tractors, 9.4% less than 9,906 in November last year. However, according to domestic data, it sold 8,730 tractors, 9,503 less than in November 2023. In short, this year, there was an 8.1% decline.
The company stated that this change occurred due to important festive days having been advanced to October this year. However, Escorts enjoyed a 9% increase in domestic tractor sales from September to November. Additionally, the company sold 38,554 units, compared to 35,387 units in the same period last year.
In terms of exports, sales fell sharply. In November (2024), just 244 tractors were exported. This was 39.5% below the 403 sold in the corresponding month the previous year.

Export sales slumped drastically. Escorts reported its tractor sales (YoY) numbers for April to November 2024. It sold 83,449 units in the eight months, a fall of 0.1% over the 83,513 units sold during the same period last year.
The domestic sales increased by 1.4% to 80,746 units in FY 2024 from 79,640 units in FY 2023. This is a positive sign. In FY 2024, the exports were at 2,703 units, a fall of 30.2% over 3,873 units exported in FY 2023. Additionally, the YOY data of exports have come down significantly. In FY2024, exports were at a mere 2,703 units, which are down 30.2% from FY2023 export of 3,873 units.
