Mahindra Commences MAXSEEDER Production with Canadian Partner

Mahindra & Mahindra has commenced commercial production and supply of the MAXSEEDER, a precision zero-till, multi-crop seeding machine manufactured under licence from Canada's Clean Seed Technologies.

The MAXSEEDER is engineered to plant a variety of crops, including rice, wheat, soybean, maize and cotton. Its zero-till technology enables seeds to be sown directly into paddy residue while causing minimal soil disturbance, eliminating the need to burn crop stubble before planting.

The machine helps minimise seed wastage and fertilizer consumption, allowing farmers to manage input expenses more effectively. Mahindra will produce the machine at its dedicated farm machinery manufacturing facility in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.
