Its market share also fell sharply from 7.47% to 3.22%, a loss of 4.25%. This indicates that leading organised tractor manufacturers continued strengthening their position within the market.

Overall, the Indian tractor retail market recorded healthy growth during May FY 2026, supported by positive rural sentiment and continued mechanisation trends. Among the major brands, TAFE Limited, CNH Industrial, Escorts Kubota, and Mahindra & Mahindra (Tractor Division) emerged as key gainers in terms of market share. The strong double-digit growth in overall retail sales suggests that tractor demand remains strong across major agricultural regions of the country.
