UP Allots Land to 3 Firms for Tractor, Dry Fruit Units Near Yamuna Expressway

UP Govt Approves Major Industrial Projects in YEIDA Region

On Tuesday, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority issued allotment letters to three companies for setting up industrial units along the Yamuna Expressway. Yogi Adityanath handed over the letters in Lucknow. Two firms will set up tractor and equipment manufacturing units, while one will establish a dry fruit processing facility. The projects are expected to bring over Rs 3,000 crore in investment and create more than 5,000 jobs.

Large Investments and Job Creation

Escorts Kubota Limited has been allotted 154 acres in Sector 10 to set up a tractor and construction equipment plant. The company will invest Rs 2,029 crore and is expected to generate around 4,000 jobs, making it the largest project among the three.

CNH Industrial India Pvt Ltd has received 100 acres in Sector 8D for a tractor manufacturing unit, with an investment of Rs 1,219 crore and expected employment for 1,200 people. In the same sector, Sun Organic Industries Pvt Ltd has been allotted 30,000 sqm to set up a dry fruit processing unit, involving an investment of Rs 225 crore and creating around 569 jobs.

Industrial Development Status

YEIDA has allotted 3,113 industrial plots along the Yamuna Expressway so far. Lease deeds have been executed for 2,363 plots, and possession has been handed over to 1,785 allottees. This shows steady progress in industrial development in the region.

Units Under Construction

At present, 341 industrial units are under construction across the area. Around 60 units have already been completed, out of which 33 are operational. These operational units are registered under the Factories Act and contribute to local production.

Airport Boosts Investment

The upcoming Noida International Airport is playing a key role in attracting investment. Better connectivity is encouraging both domestic and global companies to invest in the region. This is increasing demand for industrial, residential, and commercial projects.
