Faridabad, May 28, 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited has introduced the upgraded Kubota NeoStar tractor series in the 21–30 HP category, further strengthening its focus on horticulture and interculture farming applications.

The new NeoStar range covers the 21–27 HP segment and is designed to deliver higher productivity, improved operator comfort, and application-based performance. The company is targeting key horticulture regions including Maharashtra, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarat.

According to the company, the launch builds on Kubota’s strong presence in India, where more than 80,000 farmers already rely on its compact and narrow tractors.

New Narrow Tractor for Sugarcane & Inter-Row Farming

A key highlight of the NeoStar lineup is the introduction of a new 27 HP narrow tractor variant. Specifically designed for sugarcane fields and narrow inter-row operations, the tractor offers a width of around 2.98 feet, enabling smooth operation in tight field spaces where conventional tractors struggle.

The NeoStar range is now available in two configurations. The narrow variant is focused on sugarcane and closely spaced crops, while the standard compact models are suitable for vineyards, orchards, vegetable farming, and other multi-crop applications in confined spaces.

Power Steering and ECO PTO Across the Range

Escorts Kubota Limited has equipped the entire NeoStar range with power steering and ECO PTO features to enhance operator comfort and improve fuel efficiency.

The tractors are designed with compact dimensions and improved ergonomics, making them suitable for various farming operations such as interculture, spraying, haulage, and rotavator work. Built on Japanese engineering standards, the NeoStar series focuses on long-term durability and consistent field performance.

Designed for Horticulture Farmers and Service Providers

The NeoStar series is primarily aimed at farmers engaged in growing grapes, sugarcane, pomegranate, banana, mango, and vegetables. It also caters to orchard owners and agri-service providers involved in spraying, loader operations, and rotavator services.

The company expects strong demand from progressive farmers and young buyers with landholdings between 1 and 5 hectares.

Focus on Growing Compact Tractor Segment

Speaking at the launch, Chairman and Managing Director Nikhil Nanda said the 21–30 HP compact tractor segment has grown significantly in recent years due to rising horticulture mechanisation.

He added that the NeoStar range strengthens Kubota’s position in application-focused premium tractors and will help expand its presence across horticulture belts in western, southern, and central India.

Deputy Managing Director Akira Kato stated that the tractors were developed based on detailed field research, with features like ECO PTO, power steering, and narrow design aimed at improving productivity and durability.

Built Around Farmer Needs

Chief Officer, Tractor Division Rajan Chugh noted that the NeoStar 27 HP narrow tractor has been specially engineered for sugarcane farming, where tight row spacing limits the use of conventional tractors.

He further added that features like power steering and ECO PTO help reduce fuel consumption and allow longer working hours, while the compact structure makes the tractor ideal for horticulture and orchard applications.
