Faridabad, August 1, 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited has reported its tractor sales figures for July 2026 under its Agri Machinery Business. The company sold 8,731 tractors during the month, marking a 22.0 increase over 7,154 units sold in July 2025.

Domestic sales remained the key contributor to this growth. Escorts Kubota recorded 8,194 tractor sales in the Indian market, compared to 6,624 units in the same month last year, registering a 23.7% year-on-year increase. According to the company, consistent demand in both wholesale and retail channels, along with improved rainfall in July, supported sales. The better monsoon also reduced the cumulative rainfall deficit to around 14–15%, while faster progress in Kharif sowing helped strengthen farmer confidence and rural demand.

The company's export business also witnessed positive movement. Escorts Kubota exported 537 tractors in July 2026, slightly higher than 530 units exported in July 2025, resulting in a 1.3% growth.

For the first four months of FY27 (April–July), Escorts Kubota's total tractor sales reached 45,593 units, up from 37,735 units during the corresponding period of FY26, reflecting an overall 20.8% growth. Strong domestic demand continued to drive overall performance, although cumulative export sales were lower than the previous year.

Particular FY 27 FY 26 Change
Domestic 43,651 35,472 23.10%
Export 1,942 2,263 -14.20%

Market Outlook

Escorts Kubota's July performance reflects healthy momentum in the tractor market, supported by favourable monsoon conditions and increasing Kharif sowing across key agricultural states. Improved rainfall has boosted rural sentiment, leading to steady demand in both wholesale and retail markets.

Going forward, the company believes the rural market remains fundamentally strong. At the same time, it will continue to monitor factors such as the progress of the Kharif season, monsoon performance during the remaining months, rising input costs for farmers, the delayed festive calendar in the third quarter, and the higher sales base from last year, all of which could influence future tractor demand.
