Faridabad, May 1, 2026: Escorts Kubota has released its sales report for April 2026. The company sold a total of 10,857 tractors during the month. This represents a growth of 24.4% compared to 8,729 tractors sold in April 2025, indicating a strong overall performance.
Meanwhile, the domestic market played a major role in this growth. Escorts Kubota sold 10,398 tractors in India in April 2026, compared to 8,148 units in April 2025. This shows a growth of 27.6%, supported by positive farm conditions and better rural income.
However, export sales showed a decline during the same period. The company exported 459 tractors in April 2026, down from 581 tractors in April 2025. This reflects a decrease of 21.0%, which slightly impacted the company’s overall growth.
The domestic tractor industry grew in April 2026, supported by strong farm sentiment, good reservoir levels, and improved rural liquidity after the GST reduction. Demand remained steady, but rising input costs and ongoing geopolitical challenges may impact farmer affordability in the near term. Additionally, changing weather conditions, including emerging El Niño signals, will be important to monitor for future demand trends.
