CNH India has reached a major manufacturing milestone with the rollout of its 800,000th tractor from its Greater Noida plant. The company said this achievement highlights its strong presence in India’s farm equipment sector and growing demand from both domestic and international markets. The milestone also reflects increasing trust in its tractor brands and long-term commitment to agricultural development.
The Greater Noida facility, operated by CNH Industrial N.V., has been a key production site for tractors in India since 1999. It manufactures tractors under the New Holland and Case IH brands and supplies both local and export markets.
The plant has now crossed the landmark of 800,000 tractors produced since its establishment. The company noted that the last 100,000 units were manufactured in record time, with the 700,000th tractor completed in 2024.
Over the years, the facility has significantly expanded its production capacity and capabilities. It currently has an annual output of around 60,000 tractors, which is being increased to 70,000 units. The plant produces a wide range of models designed for different farming needs across India and global markets.
The Greater Noida facility spans 60 acres and is one of CNH’s important global manufacturing hubs. It produces tractors along with engines, transmissions, axles, and Power Take-Off systems. The plant manufactures more than 3,000 tractor variants under the New Holland and Case IH brands and employs over 4,000 people.
Products from this facility are exported to more than 90 countries across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and North America. The plant uses advanced automation systems and strict quality processes to improve efficiency and production standards. It also follows sustainability practices such as rooftop solar power generation, water conservation, and afforestation based on the Miyawaki method.
Ravi Kundra, Director Manufacturing Agriculture, CNH India, said:
“As a key pillar in CNH’s global manufacturing network, our Noida plant delivers world-class, technology-driven solutions backed by customer trust and a focus on farming’s future. Rolling out the 800,000th tractor from Greater Noida marks an important milestone for the facility. It reflects strong manufacturing capability and growing demand across domestic and export markets.”
CNH India has announced plans to set up a new tractor manufacturing facility to meet rising demand for “Made in India” equipment. The company aims to strengthen both domestic supply and international exports through this expansion.
With over 25 years of operations in India, CNH continues to work through its Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment brands. It also operates CNH Capital India to provide financing solutions across its product range.
