Big News: Partnership between Escorts Kubota and Tractor Junction
New Delhi, August 11, 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited has signed an MoU with Tractor Junction to create a structured system for exchanged tractor valuation and resale. The partnership will also support faster liquidation of used tractors. The collaboration will work through Escorts Kubota's authorised dealership network and aims to help dealers manage pre-owned tractors received during new tractor purchases.
Under the partnership, Tractor Junction will use its used tractor market expertise, valuation system and buyer network to help dealers price and sell exchanged tractors. The initiative is expected to help dealers clear inventory faster, free up working capital and support new tractor sales.
What the MoU Means for Tractor Dealers?
The collaboration addresses the growing number of used tractors entering dealerships through exchange programmes. Without a structured valuation and resale process, dealers can face difficulties in determining market prices and moving this inventory quickly.
Tractor Junction will provide digital inspection, market-based valuation and structured online listings for eligible exchanged tractors. The tractors will then be matched with verified buyers based on their condition and prevailing market demand.
How Will the Used Tractor Resale Process Work?
Participating Escorts Kubota dealerships will identify tractors received through exchanges during new tractor sales. Tractor Junction will then assess these tractors digitally, determine their market value and list them across its buyer network.
The platform will facilitate transactions with verified buyers, helping dealerships reduce the time spent holding exchanged tractors. This can also release working capital tied up in used inventory and improve inventory turnover.
Tractor Junction Already Sells Nearly 500 Used Tractors Monthly
Tractor Junction currently facilitates the sale of nearly 500 pre-owned tractors every month through its network of more than 100 company-owned, company-operated (COCO) dealerships. Its existing buyer network and transaction data will support the new resale framework.
The partnership combines this used tractor expertise with Escorts Kubota's authorised dealer network. The companies aim to create a more organised process for exchanging, valuing and reselling tractors.
Partnership to Begin in Three States
The first phase of the programme will be launched across Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The companies plan to expand the initiative later to Gujarat, Telangana and Chhattisgarh.
The phased approach is intended to establish the operating process in the initial markets before extending it to additional states. It will also allow both companies to develop a consistent framework for handling exchanged tractors across different regions.
Comment From Escorts Kubota
Commenting on the collaboration, Neeraj Mehra, Chief Officer, Tractor Business Division at Escorts Kubota Ltd, said:
“This MOU with Tractor Junction gives customers a transparent, market-backed price for their existing tractor and a faster path to a new one. It also gives our dealers a reliable way to move exchange inventory, so they can focus on what they do best, which is putting the right machine in the right farmer's hands.”
Comment From Tractor Junction
Rajat Gupta, Founder & CEO of Tractor Junction, highlighted the need for better management of exchange inventory, said:
“A strong dealership network requires equally strong lifecycle solutions. While new tractor sales remain the primary business for dealers, the efficient management of exchange inventory has become increasingly important in sustaining business momentum. Through this collaboration with Escorts Kubota, we are bringing greater structure, pricing intelligence and market access to the used tractor ecosystem. Our objective is to help dealers unlock capital faster, improve inventory productivity and create a more transparent exchange experience that benefits every stakeholder across the value chain.”
Collaboration Aims to Support New Tractor Sales
Exchange programmes can help customers reduce the upfront cost of a new tractor by trading in their existing machine. However, the ability to resell those tractors efficiently is also important for dealerships managing exchange inventory.
By combining Escorts Kubota's dealer network with Tractor Junction's digital valuation and resale capabilities, the companies aim to create a scalable used tractor channel. The initiative is expected to support smoother exchanges, faster resale and better inventory management across participating dealerships.
