Escorts Kubota Sells 15,214 Tractors in September 2026, Down 16.7%

Faridabad, October 1, 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business recorded tractor sales of 15,214 units in September 2026, compared with 18,267 units in September 2025, resulting in a 16.7% year-on-year decline.

The company’s domestic tractor sales stood at 14,911 units in September 2026, against 17,803 units in the corresponding month last year, registering a 16.2% decline. Export sales were recorded at 303 tractors, compared with 464 units in September 2025, marking a 34.7% decline.

Escorts Kubota said the September 2026 performance was affected by the higher base of September 2025 after the GST rate reduction, the festive season moving to October 2026, uneven monsoon conditions and comparatively lower Kharif sowing. These factors impacted the year-on-year comparison during the month.

Looking ahead, the company expects festive demand, crop harvesting and improving rural liquidity to support tractor industry volumes in the coming months. However, the higher base of the previous year could continue to weigh on year-on-year growth in the near term.

Domestic and export volumes together contributed to the company’s overall tractor sales for September. Of the 15,214 tractors sold in September 2026, 14,911 units were sold in the domestic market, while 303 units were exported.

Escorts Kubota Tractor Sales in Q2 FY27

For July to September 2026 (Q2 FY27), Escorts Kubota sold 34,017 tractors, compared with 33,877 tractors during the same quarter of FY26, registering 0.4% growth.

Domestic sales during Q2 FY27 stood at 32,628 tractors, an increase of 0.9% over 32,329 units in the corresponding period of FY26. Meanwhile, export sales were 1,389 tractors, compared with 1,548 units in the previous year, recording a 10.3% decline.

Escorts Kubota Tractor Sales in H1 FY27

During April to September 2026 (H1 FY27), Escorts Kubota recorded sales of 70,879 tractors, compared with 64,458 tractors in the same period of FY26, representing 10.0% growth.

Domestic tractor sales increased to 68,085 units, up 11.3% from 61,177 units in FY26. Export sales stood at 2,794 tractors, compared with 3,281 units in the previous year, registering a 14.8% decline.
