Escorts Kubota Achieves 18.9% Sales Growth in May 2026, Selling 12,310 Tractors

Faridabad, June 1, 2026: Escorts Kubota Limited's Agri Machinery Business has released its tractor sales figures for May 2026. The company recorded total sales of 12,310 tractors, marking an 18.9% increase compared to 10,354 units sold during May 2025.

The company's domestic business continued to perform well during the month. Escorts Kubota sold 11,887 tractors in the domestic market in May 2026, up from 9,703 units in May 2025. This growth of 22.5% was supported by strong wholesale and retail demand, favourable agricultural conditions, adequate water reservoir levels, and sustained rural demand.

However, export performance remained under pressure. The company exported 423 tractors in May 2026, compared to 651 units in the corresponding month last year. As a result, export sales witnessed a 35.0% decline, mainly due to softer demand in international markets.

In the April-May FY27 period, Escorts Kubota sold 23,167 tractors, registering a 21.4% growth over 19,083 units sold during the corresponding period of FY26. Strong domestic demand remained the key contributor to this growth.

Sales Performance Overview

Escorts Kubota sustained its growth momentum in May 2026, driven by favourable farm conditions, healthy reservoir levels, and steady rural demand ahead of the Kharif season.

However, rising input costs, softer cash crop prices, and geopolitical uncertainties remain key concerns. Despite the possibility of El Niño affecting rainfall patterns, strong water availability and resilient rural demand continue to support the tractor market outlook.
