Central Bank & ACE sign tractor & agricultural machinery loan agreement

Central Bank signs MoU with ACE for Tractor & Farm Machinery Loans.

The Central Bank of India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Action Construction Equipment (ACE) Ltd to enhance the financing options for tractors and farm machinery across India. The partnership aims to support agricultural mechanisation nationwide, and organised loans more accessible for the farmers.

D.S. Rathour, the General Manager (ASBD) of the Central Bank of India, signed the MoU along with the Chief General Manager (Agri Division at ACE Ltd), Ravindra Singh Khaneja. The top officials from both companies participated in the event, which symbolized their joint dedication to the rural finance sector.

Easier Loans for Farmers

As per this agreement, both parties are going to enhance the supply of loans to farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, and consumers residing in rural areas. It is beneficial for farmers who want to get loans for buying tractors and farm machines. The cooperation is believed to later open up loan access in the rural areas and also facilitate the acceptance of new technology in farming through the use of farm machinery.

They are planning to give financial support to the small and medium farmers for agriculture machinery. This MoU will indirectly lead to increased agricultural output, as easier access to the required machinery is provided.
