ITL Announces 25-Acre Global R&D Centre in Greater Noida 

International Tractors Limited (ITL), the company behind Sonalika Tractors, is planning to establish a 25-acre Global Research and Development (R&D) Centre in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The upcoming facility will work as a major engineering and research centre for the company.

The proposed centre will focus on developing new farm technologies and solutions for farmers in India and international markets. The plan was discussed following a meeting between Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and ITL representatives in Lucknow.

New R&D Centre to Focus on Farm Technology

The planned greenfield facility is part of ITL’s efforts to expand its research, engineering and product development work. The centre will combine engineering knowledge with feedback from farmers to develop products and technologies suited to farming needs in India and other countries.

ITL has been active in the agricultural sector for over 30 years. The new R&D centre is expected to support the company’s future work in research, engineering and the development of new agricultural products.

Greater Noida Project to Support Jobs and Skills

The proposed R&D centre is also expected to add to Uttar Pradesh’s industrial and technology growth. The project will create opportunities in engineering, skilled employment and technology-based work.

ITL said the centre will also add to the state’s growing innovation ecosystem. It is expected to support Uttar Pradesh’s efforts to attract more technology and industrial projects.

Raman Mittal Talks About ITL’s R&D Plans

Raman Mittal, Joint Managing Director of International Tractors Limited, said that he was pleased to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and discuss ITL’s plans for the proposed 25-acre Global R&D Centre in Greater Noida.

He said the project is an important part of ITL’s plans to expand its work in agricultural research and technology. The company plans to develop Greater Noida as a global R&D centre focused on technologies that can help farmers and support better farming practices.

Mittal also said ITL aims to develop solutions from Uttar Pradesh for farmers in India and international markets. He expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his support and guidance for the project.
