Retail Tractor Sales September 2025: 64,785 Units Sold, Marking 3.61% Growth

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has published the retail tractor sales report for September 2025 with total sales of 64,785 units. This marks a growth of 3.61% compared to 62,527 units sold in September 2024, reflecting steady demand in the agricultural sector.

Tractor Sales by Brand - September 2025

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (Tractor Division) sold 15,515 units in September 2025, up 5.07% from 14,767 units in September 2024. The company held a 23.95% market share, slightly higher than last year’s 23.62%, an increase of 0.33%.

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (Swaraj Division) sold 11,559 units in September 2025, a 4.91% increase from 11,018 units in September 2024. The brand’s market presence stood at 17.84%, up 0.22% from 17.62% last year.

TAFE Limited recorded 7,943 units in September 2025, growing 9.00% from 7,287 units in September 2024. The market share increased by 0.61% to reach 12.26% from 11.65% last year.

International Tractors Limited (Sonalika) sold 7,756 units in September 2025, down 4.41% from 8,114 units in September 2024. Market share slightly dropped by -1.01% to 11.97% from 12.98% in 2024.

Retail Sales Report

Escorts Kubota Limited sold 6,692 units in September 2025, up 5.99% from 6,314 units in September 2024. Its market share expanded by 0.23%, reaching 10.33% from 10.10% last year.

John Deere India Pvt Ltd sold 4,814 units in September 2025, almost the same as 4,815 units in September 2024, a -0.02% decline. Its market share dipped slightly by 0.27%, settling at 7.43% from 7.70%.

Eicher Tractors sold 3,851 units in September 2025, growing 1.18% from 3,806 units last year. Their market share declined by -0.15% to 5.94% from 6.09% in 2024.

CNH Industrial delivered 3,140 units in September 2025, a 24.60% increase from 2,520 units in September 2024. Its market share rose by 0.82% to 4.85% from 4.03% last year.

Other tractor brands sold 3,515 units in September 2025, down 9.55% from 3,886 units in September 2024. The market share reduced by 0.78%, falling from 6.21% to 5.43%.
