Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has shared its tractor sales data for March 2025. Domestic sales in India reached 32,582 units, up from 24,276 units in March 2024, showing a 34% increase.
Overall, Mahindra sold 34,934 tractors in March 2025, including exports, reflecting a 34% growth compared to 26,024 units sold last year. Exports also saw a significant rise, with 2,352 units sold in March 2025, up from 1,748 units in March 2024, marking a 35% increase.

In April 2025, Mahindra released its Year-to-Date (YTD) tractor sales data, highlighting impressive growth. The company saw a 12% increase in domestic sales in 2025, with a total of 4,07,094 units sold, compared to 3,64,526 units in 2024.
This marks a significant achievement for Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector, as it represents the highest-ever yearly domestic tractor sales in the company’s history. The strong sales performance reflects the growing demand for Mahindra tractors, driven by favorable market conditions and an expanding customer base.
Mahindra’s export market showed impressive growth, rising by 27%. In March 2025, the company’s export sales reached 17,547 units, up from 13,860 units in March 2024.
Overall, Mahindra sold 4,24,641 units in March 2025, marking a 12% increase from the 3,78,386 units sold in March 2024. This surge in sales highlights the strong growth in Mahindra’s export performance and the overall positive trend in its tractor sales.

Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President the farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “In March 2025, we sold 32,582 tractors in the domestic market, showing a 34% growth compared to last year. The tractor industry has been experiencing positive momentum due to favorable weather conditions, good reservoir levels, a strong rabi outlook, and beneficial terms of trade for farmers. The harvest season has begun in the northern regions and is expected to progress smoothly across the country.
Tractor deliveries picked up in the last week of March due to festivities, and this momentum is expected to continue into Q1 FY26, supported by a strong rabi crop and improved cash flow for farmers. In the export market, we sold 2,352 tractors, reflecting a 35% growth compared to last year.”
