Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has released its tractor sales data for January 2025. In the domestic market, Mahindra sold 26,305 tractors, which is a 15% increase from January 2024, when 22,972 units were sold.

Mahindra's Tractor Year-to-Date (YTD) sales for January 2025 show a 10% increase overall. Domestic sales for FY’25 reached 350,632 units, up from 320,129 units in FY’24. Exports saw a significant rise of 28%, reaching 13,548 units compared to 10,561 units last year. The total sales for January 2025 were 364,180 units, compared to 330,690 units in the same month last year.
Hemant Sikka, President of the Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., commented, "The growth in tractor sales is due to better soil moisture, increased Rabi sowing, and government support on rural schemes and subsidies. We expect the upcoming Union Budget to boost tractor demand further."
