Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has released its tractor sales report for February 2025. The company has shown strong growth in both domestic and international markets, recording a significant increase in tractor sales.
The overall sales performance reflects rising demand for tractors in India and abroad. This growth is driven by favorable weather conditions, strong agricultural output, and government support for the farming sector.
Mahindra sold 23,880 tractors in India in February 2025, marking a 19% increase compared to the 20,121 units sold in February 2024. This rise in sales indicates a strong demand for Mahindra tractors among Indian farmers.
The company's total tractor sales, including exports, stood at 25,527 units in February 2025. This is an 18% increase compared to the 21,672 units sold in the same month last year.
Mahindra also saw a positive trend in its export market. The company exported 1,647 tractors in February 2025. This is 6% higher than the 1,551 units exported in February 2024.
The steady increase in both domestic and international sales highlights Mahindra’s strong market position. The brand continues to be a top choice for farmers due to its durability, advanced technology, and reliability.

Mahindra also released its Year-to-Date (YTD) tractor sales data in March 2025. The data reflects the company’s consistent growth over the financial year.
The domestic sales for YTD FY 2025 have increased by 10%. Mahindra sold 3,74,512 tractors in India in 2025, as compared to 3,40,250 units sold in 2024. This growth highlights the rising demand for tractors in the Indian agricultural sector.
Mahindra also experienced significant growth in exports. The company exported 15,195 tractors in 2025, which is 25% higher than the 12,112 tractors exported in 2024. This shows that Mahindra tractors are gaining popularity in international markets.
The total tractor sales (domestic + exports) for YTD FY 2025 stood at 3,89,707 units. This is an 11% increase compared to 3,52,362 units sold in 2024. The double-digit growth in overall sales indicates Mahindra’s strong presence in the global tractor market.
Hemant Sikka, President – Farm Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., expressed his views on the company’s performance. He stated, "We have sold 23,880 tractors in the domestic market during February 2025, achieving a 19% growth over last year."
He attributed the increase in sales to several key factors. These include a good Kharif crop season, which has given farmers higher earnings. Additionally, the Rabi crop outlook remains positive due to favorable weather conditions.
The government’s continued support for farmers, along with an increase in agricultural credit limits, has also contributed to higher demand. The expected bumper Rabi harvest will further boost the need for tractors in the coming months. Regarding exports, he added, "We have sold 1,647 tractors in the international market, achieving a 6% growth over last year." This growth shows Mahindra’s strong performance in global markets and its increasing export potential.
