CEAT Specialty has joined hands with Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) for the launch of the next-generation OJA tractor range in Australia. The launch, held in September in Brisbane, marked a significant step as Mahindra, the world’s largest tractor manufacturer by volume, introduced its future-ready OJA series to the Australian market.
CEAT was chosen as the preferred tyre supplier for the OJA tractors, providing high-quality, ready-to-fit tyres designed for agricultural, industrial, and turf applications. This partnership ensures high performance, durability, and reliability for farmers.
CEAT Specialty has been selected as the preferred OEM tyre partner for the OJA tractors in Australia. The range includes tyres for agricultural, industrial, and turf applications, especially designed for compact and sub-compact tractors in the 20-25 hp range.
Before the official launch, CEAT supplied the required tyres to Mahindra Australia in August 2025. Because of its in-house rim assembly at the Ambernath facility, CEAT ensured ready-to-fit solutions for tractors. This includes those with loaders, backhoes, and mowers for farming.
CEAT has already established itself as a trusted brand in Australia. Its tyres are designed to handle the unique challenges and terrains of the region. By working closely with M&M engineers, CEAT developed a range that perfectly suits local farmers’ needs:
Amit Tolani, CEO of CEAT Specialty, shared his excitement about the partnership and commented, “We are excited to work with Mahindra again for the launch of their OJA tractors in Australia. Our tyres are built to perform well in different industries and tasks. This partnership strengthens our journey with Mahindra and shows how CEAT supports farmers worldwide with efficient products."
Ravindra S Shahane, Head of Global Product Planning at Mahindra & Mahindra, said: “We are proud to introduce the globally acclaimed Mahindra OJA tractor range in an important market like Australia. CEAT Specialty and Mahindra already share a long-standing partnership in the United States, where CEAT has been delivering high-performing tyres for farmers. This extension into Australia further strengthens the bond between the two brands, both committed to offering future-ready solutions."
With the OJA tractor launch in Australia, CEAT Specialty strengthens its position as a trusted global partner. By providing high-quality tyres for Mahindra tractors, CEAT helps ensure they work well, last long, and perform efficiently. This partnership gives Australian farmers better tractors and tyres for all kinds of tasks.
