3rd October 2025: The Indian domestic tractor industry registered strong growth in October 2025, reaching total sales of 1,66,145 units, compared to 1,44,675 units in the same month last year. This marks a 14.84% year-on-year increase, reflecting steady demand in the farming sector. Major manufacturers such as M&M Group, TAFE Group, and Sonalika Tractors contributed significantly to this growth.
The M&M Group led the domestic tractor market with 72,071 units sold in October 2025, compared to 64,326 units last year. This shows a 12.04% year-on-year growth. The company held a 43.38% market share, slightly down by 1.08% from 44.46% last year.
TAFE Group achieved sales of 29,234 units in October 2025, up from 25,014 units in October 2024. It recorded a healthy 16.87% growth year-on-year. The company’s market share rose to 17.60%, gaining 0.31% from 17.29% in 2024.
Sonalika Tractors reported strong sales of 24,781 units in October 2025, compared to 18,002 units last year. This reflects an impressive growth of 37.66% year-on-year. The company’s market share increased to 14.92% from 12.44%, gaining 2.47%.
Escorts Kubota sold 18,423 tractors in October 2025, up from 17,839 units in October 2024. It recorded a slight growth of 3.27% year-on-year. The brand’s market share dropped to 11.09% from 12.33%, down by 1.24%.

John Deere sold 11,893 units in October 2025, compared to 11,483 units in October 2024. It achieved a small 3.57% growth year-on-year. The company’s market share declined to 7.16% from 7.94%, down by 0.78%.
New Holland achieved 7,105 tractor sales in October 2025, up from 5,744 units in October 2024. It registered a strong growth of 23.69% year-on-year. The brand's market share increased to 4.28% from 3.97%, gaining 0.31%.
VST sold 525 tractors in October 2025, compared to 502 units in October 2024. It recorded a mild 4.58% growth year-on-year. The company’s market share fell to 0.32% from 0.35%, dropping 0.03%.
Indo Farm reported 548 tractor sales in October 2025, compared to 485 units last year. It achieved a 12.99% growth year-on-year. The company maintained a steady market share of 0.33%, down slightly by 0.01%.
SDF Tractors recorded 110 units sold in October 2025, up from 97 units in October 2024. The company saw a 13.40% growth year-on-year. Its market share remained stable at 0.07%, showing no change from last year.
Captain Tractors delivered strong results with 443 units sold in October 2025, compared to 267 units in 2024. They achieved a remarkable 65.92% growth year-on-year. Their market share increased to 0.27% from 0.18%, gaining 0.08%.
Preet Tractors sold 680 units in October 2025, compared to 546 units in October 2024. It achieved a healthy 24.54% growth year-on-year. The company’s market share rose to 0.41% from 0.38%, up by 0.03%.
ACE Tractors reported 332 units sold in October 2025, down from 370 units last year. The company witnessed a -10.27% decline year-on-year. Its market share decreased to 0.20% from 0.26%, down by 0.06%.
