Escorts Kubota has released its sales report for June 2025. The company sold 11,498 tractors this month, which is a 2.2% increase from 11,245 tractors sold in June last year.
Domestic tractor sales stood at 10,997 units in June 2025, slightly lower than the 11,011 units sold in June 2024. Meanwhile, exports saw strong growth, with 501 tractors sold, up 114.1% from 234 units in June last year.
According to the report, the timely arrival of the southwest monsoon and the improvement in sown areas for Kharif crops have supported rural progress. Additionally, the government's announcement of higher Minimum Support Prices (MSPs) for the Kharif season has helped uplift farmers’ sentiments.
Moving forward with prediction of above normal monsoon, higher water reservoir levels, anticipated record kharif harvest and resultant improved liquidity conditions in rural markets, we expect industry will continue to grow in rest of the year as well.
