Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division has shared its tractor sales data for April 2025. The company sold a total of 8,729 tractors during the month. In comparison, it had sold 8,839 tractors in April 2024. This shows a slight decrease of 1.2% in total tractor sales over the year.
Domestic sales declined in April 2025. The company sold 8,148 tractors in India during the month. In April 2024, domestic sales reached 8,492 units. This indicates a decline of 4.1% in domestic tractor sales.
On the other hand, export sales showed a strong increase. Escorts Kubota exported 581 tractors in April 2025. In comparison, they exported only 347 tractors in April 2024. This represents a 67.4% increase in export sales.
According to Escorts Kubota, the current macroeconomic conditions are favourable. The rabi harvest has been good. Crop prices are higher this year. Also, water levels in reservoirs are sufficient. With these factors, the company anticipates an increase in tractor demand across various regions in the coming months.
