Escorts Kubota Limited’s Agri Machinery Business Division has shared its tractor sales report for May 2025. The company sold a total of 10,354 tractors in May 2025. In the same month last year, they sold 10,286 tractors. This indicates a 0.7% increase in total tractor sales.
However, domestic tractor sales saw a slight decline. In May 2025, the company sold 9,703 tractors in the Indian market. Last year in May, they sold 9,906 tractors. So, there was a 2% decrease in domestic sales.
In contrast, exports saw strong growth. The company exported 651 tractors in May 2025, which is much higher than the 380 units exported last year. This represents a notable 71.3% increase in export sales.

According to Escorts Kubota, the on-time arrival of the monsoon season has brought optimism to the agricultural sector. Farmers have started preparing for the upcoming Kharif season, and progress is as expected.
The company expects this positive trend to continue. The forecast of an above-normal monsoon, combined with good water levels in reservoirs and improved financial conditions in rural areas, is expected to support tractor demand in the coming months.
Escorts Kubota also released its cumulative sales report for the first two months of FY26 (April and May 2025).
