Brand Wise Domestic Tractor Sales Report July 2024

Mahindra, the top tractor manufacturer in India, had a successful month in July 2024 with sales of 25,587 tractors. This represents a 5.87% growth from the 24,168 units that were sold in July 2023. In this timeframe, Mahindra Tractor also increased their market share by 1.59%, demonstrating their strong market presence and strategic expansion.

There was a small decrease in sales for TAFE, as they sold 10,284 tractors in July 2024, down by 1.98% from the 10,492 units sold in July 2023. Similarly, TAFE Tractor experienced a slight decline in their market share by 0.69%, showing a small setback in their overall market performance.

Sonalika Tractor sold 7,493 tractors in July 2024, showing a 2.35% drop from the 7,673 units sold in July 2023. In addition, the brand experienced a 0.55% decline in market share. Still, Sonalika’s position in the market share is stable, despite the fact of decline in the number of sales.

John Deere experienced a rise in sales, with 5,614 tractors sold in July 2024, showing a 10.56% increase compared to the 5,078 units sold in July 2023. The John Deere Tractor brand saw a 0.73% rise in market share due to successful strategies and higher demand for their tractors. In July 2024, John Deere's sales surpassed those of Escorts.

Escorts Tractor saw a 3.58% rise in tractor sales in July 2024, selling 5,346 units compared to 5,161 units sold in July 2023. Although there was an increase in sales, the brand saw a small uptick in market share of 0.14%, showing competition in the market.
