India’s tractor market saw growth in April 2025. Domestic tractor sales rose by 8.05%. A total of 83,131 tractors were sold. In April 2024, 76,939 tractors were sold. Some brands showed strong growth. But a few brands saw a drop in their sales and market share.

India’s top tractor maker, Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) Group, sold 38,516 tractors in April 2025. Last year, the company sold 35,805 units. This shows a 7.57% growth. However, its market share dropped slightly. It came down from 46.54% to 46.33%, a dip of 0.21%.

TAFE Group also performed well. It sold 14,462 tractors in April 2025. This is an 11.23% increase from 13,002 units sold in April 2024. Its market share also improved. It rose from 16.90% to 17.40%, up by 0.50%.

Sonalika Tractors sold 9,955 units this April. This is a 3.17% increase from 9,649 units last year. But despite the growth in numbers, the company lost some market share. It dropped from 12.54% to 11.98%, a fall of 0.57%.

Escorts Kubota faced a decline in sales. It sold 8,148 tractors in April 2025. In April 2024, it had sold 8,492 units. This is a drop of 4.05%. Its market share also went down. It fell from 11.04% to 9.80%, down by 1.24%.

John Deere performed strongly. The company sold 6,856 tractors in April 2025. Last year, it sold 5,775 units. This is an 18.72% growth. Its market share also improved. It rose from 7.51% to 8.25%, gaining 0.74%.

New Holland also saw solid growth. It sold 3,484 tractors this April. This is a 21.52% increase from 2,867 units last year. The brand’s market share also went up. It grew from 3.73% to 4.19%, a rise of 0.46%.

Preet Tractors had a fall in performance. It sold 372 units in April 2025. Last year, it sold 405 units. This is an 8.15% drop in sales. Its market share also went down. It fell from 0.53% to 0.45%, down by 0.08%.

Indo Farm sold 366 tractors in April 2025. This is a small rise of 3.98% from 352 units in April 2024. Its market share stayed almost the same. It moved from 0.46% to 0.44%, a slight fall of 0.02%.

SDF (Same Deutz-Fahr) showed massive growth. It sold 334 tractors this April. In April 2024, it sold only 51 units. This is a jump of 554.90%. Its market share also grew sharply. It went up from 0.07% to 0.40%, a 0.34% rise.

VST Tillers Tractors also improved its performance. It sold 250 units in April 2025. This is a 20.19% rise from 208 units last year. The market share increased slightly from 0.27% to 0.30%, up by 0.03%.

Captain Tractors sold 209 units this April. Last year, it sold 200 units. This is a 4.50% increase. Its market share remained almost stable. It moved slightly from 0.26% to 0.25%.

ACE Tractors saw the highest growth in small brands. It sold 179 units this April. In April 2024, it sold 133 units. This is a 34.59% jump. The market share also improved. It rose from 0.17% to 0.22%, a gain of 0.04%.
